Musicxs Movilizadxs presents "Canto para una Semilla", cantata for voice and traditional instruments (charango, cuatro, guitar, quena, bass drum), composed by Luis Advis based on Violeta Parra's décimas.
It will be a group of approximately 100 people, made up of musicians, students and professors from the Music Institute of the Alberto Hurtado University.
The intervention will consist of five pieces from Advis's work, in addition to “America, My Bride” and “El Pueblo Unidas will never be defeated” by Inti Illimani, mixing three types of musical ensembles: instrumental ensemble, orchestra and choir. Premiered in 1972, the cantata is characterized by using folklore rhythms and instruments.
