Santa María, the band led by Rodrigo Santa María, will release its second album, Imperio, a album with eleven songs featuring La sangre de las Maripas (winning song of the 2014 Malamemoria Contest and performed with Manuel García and Raúl Aliaga) and Celofán, part of the soundtrack of the Canal 13 television series “Chipe Libre”. Also participating in the album are the actress and singer Elvira López (Last night and We will take your city), and the musician and critic, Jaime Donoso on piano (La Balada de un amor).
In 2008, Rodrigo Santa María composed the song The Girls for the film of the same name by Rodrigo Marín, and the music for the play Gladys (2011, awarded 4 Altazor); In 2012 he composed the song Pena for the film “Pérez” by Álvaro Viguera and presented his debut album “Ceniza”, with guest artists such as the actress and singer Antonia Santa María.

The band is composed of Rodrigo Santa María, Gabriel Donoso, Pablo Icazategui, Rodrigo Callealta and Felipe Hurtado.
