Sankara, Tata Barahona and LSD

The concert “We are a footprint” brings together the troubadour Tata Barahona with the duo Sankara (Fernanda Mosqueda and Felipe Valdés), and includes old and new songs from their collective work.

In their songs you can easily find a photograph of what lives in our streets, in our neighborhoods, in Chile and how that is replicated throughout the planet. At many points these three musicians meet and for three years they have been performing more than a dozen shows together, as well as collaborating on new record productions.

Together they achieve wonderful and unusual sets of voices, in addition to the use of little explored instruments that only a luthier, musician and troubadour like Tata could play. This is how the charango is woven between the strings of its Fídula and the voices converse with the Kalimbas. A show of intimate textures, but of a musical depth that touches fine threads of emotion.
