We thank all the artists for their interest in applying for the artistic and programmatic offer that GAM will deliver in 2020. We invite you to learn about the results of the call contest for performing and visual arts.
The call process for the 2020 programming was opened in different modalities and deadlines from April 26 through the GAM website. The selection involves Performing Arts projects (theater, family theater, dance, performance, circus); Visual Arts (exhibition mode) and Music (Concerts, Recording Studio).
The following results imply two selection lists:
Selected projects: those projects that are selected under the conditions they requested in their application regarding the number of functions and/or rooms. These projects will receive a space commitment letter via email. The final dates must be agreed with GAM, later, in a process that will begin in August 2019 and for which you will be invited to an information meeting.
Pre-selected projects: those projects that may enter the 2020 programming but for which GAM will make an offer of conditions different from those requested via the call (change of room, change in number of functions, or others). These projects will also be given a programmatic letter of intent, but a new programming modality will be jointly agreed upon with GAM which will go to a selection status only if there is agreement from both parties.
Not selected projects: it is understood that those projects that have not been named in this selection instrument have not been selected in GAM in this type of call.

Important
It is important to note that this call does not commit rehearsal spaces for the selected projects or financial contributions, with the exception of those projects from regions that will have a contribution of $1,000,000 gross for contributions in transfers and production costs.
GAM will have the complete technical sheet of the room in which the project is selected. It is necessary to consider that it does not include additional elements to the existing file and if required, these must be provided by the applicant. The deadlines for entering the room, assembly or other technical procedures will depend on the GAM program structure and the shifts of the technical teams.
It is necessary to consider that the material from the selected projects may not be published or exposed to the press or media before GAM formally announces it at the launch of its programming. Applicants authorize GAM to use the material submitted for public dissemination purposes on any medium.
This call does not consider the delivery of evaluations or comments on projects that are not selected.

The call process for the 2020 programming received a total of 97 music projects either in their concert format or to request a recording studio. Additionally, this year a new line of applications for stamps was added.
In performing arts, a total of 153 projects were received, including Theater, Performance, Dance, Circus, Family Theater and festivals.
