María Fernanda Prieto and Esteban Sepúlveda on violins, Claudia López on viola and Nicolás Benavides on cello make up the Andrés Bello quartet that ends its 2015 season at GAM.

They will perform the Piano Quintet in B minor by Enrique Soro (with Svetlana Kotova as a guest).  The work was composed in 1919 and premiered in Santiago that same year.  It corresponds to the period of full maturity of the author and summarizes the characteristics of his style and his technique of classical-romantic tradition.

In addition, they will perform the Quartet Nº12 Op.96, American by A. Dvorak.  The work was written in 1893, during the time when Dvořák lived in the United States, and is one of the most popular quartets in the chamber music repertoire.
