Singing to the sun like a cicada, after a year underground. Imagine that line in Mercedes Sosa's voice. A classic. But the author of this well-known lyric is not Sosa, but María Elena Walsh, an Argentine writer and composer who has been an essential figure in children's literature.
The U. Alberto Hurtado Chamber Choir will give a concert in tribute to him, with a selection of his compositions accompanied by story telling by Claudia Sabat and live illustrations made by Sol Díaz.
