Platinum record for more than 25 thousand copies sold and a first single that made the industry explode at that time. Esperando Nada, Nicole's second album, saw the birth of a star. It was the year 1994 and at the age of seventeen, the artist traveled to Spain to record this album that included twelve songs, an unreleased half composed by the Chilean Claudio Quiñónez and another half dozen new versions for songs such as "Sin gamulán" by Los Abuelos de la Nada, "When I Me Transforme" by Litto Nebbia and "Extraño Ser" by Man Ray, "Esperando Nada" by Antonio Vega, "Solo el Mar" by Francis Amat and "Three feet to the cat" by Nicole Brill.

These successes were the prelude to a career of more than 35 years, where the artist has contributed to the popular Chilean songbook with seven studio albums, becoming one of the most celebrated and recognized singer-songwriters in the country. Today, in a review of her career, she is on tour around the country that has taken her to 7 cities in the country, with tickets sold out at the Municipal Theater of Santiago, and now at GAM, in a more intimate and unprecedented encounter.

"I'm very excited, because touring the largest number of theaters in Chile was something that I really wanted to do for a long time. And in this instance, which is super special, where this album marks the 30th anniversary, a work that marked a very important beginning," says Nicole.

For her concert at GAM, Nicole will perform in a more intimate, electroacoustic format, where she hopes to perform part of this album in a reunion with those songs. After half an hour of music, the singer will talk with journalist Marisol García, in a close and emotional instance of her history as a performer. "It has been very nice because I think it has been 25 years since I sang several of those songs. It was exciting to feel that satisfying memory, of saying: I have written a song. It was what I wanted. My purpose with that album was to start writing, understanding and learning to make songs," adds the singer.

Nicole's presence in this cultural center has been frequent since last year, when she recorded and rehearsed part of her repertoire in the Recording Studio. From that collaboration, the first part of GAM Sessions was born, a meeting with national artists in this creation space.
