Nadir Ensemble

The Nadir Ensemble project is multicultural: it is made up of four outstanding musicians from Chile, Hungary and Spain.

With the Hungarian Zoltan Lantos on violins, the Catalan Xavi Turull on tabla, cajon and oriental percussion; and the Chileans Antonio Restucci on guitar and mandolins, and Marcelo Cordova on acoustic and electric bass, this group brings to Tocatas a Mil the sound of world music or World Music, through compositions influenced by ancestral rhythms from India, Hungary, Eastern Europe and Mediterranean music.

An elegant fusion of textures and colors, performed with virtuosity by these four musicians who combine their talents to create a unique sound. Antonio Restucci —one of the most influential Chilean soloists in fusion music— and Zoltan Lantos —a Hungarian violinist with a long career— are the composers behind this project, which reminds us that, beyond the culture and language of origin, music is a universal language.
