After five months of concerts, the musicians belonging to the Chilean Symphony Orchestra close their season at GAM and invite members of the Chilean National Ballet and the Vocal Camerata to perform on stage with a popular and eclectic program.
Music of resistance: Music, Society, History and Memory in Chile, Latin America and the World is the title of the great concert on September 10 in which more than twenty artists, instrumentalists, dancers and singers participate. They will perform compositions by Violeta and Isabel Parra, León Gieco, Pierre Degeyter, Hanns Eisler, Vicente Feliú, Marta Kubìsôva, Jerry Herman, Luca Barbarossa, Patrick Bruel, Yankele Hershkowitz, Gala Torres and Sergio Ortega.
Before, on September 3, musicians from the Symphony give their penultimate concert. This is a percussion ensemble made up of six instrumentalists who will play pieces by Christopher Rouse, Anders Koppel, Nebojsa Jovan Zivkovic, Christian Hirth, Nebojsa Jovan Zivkovic and Bob Becker.
