One of the 16 that play in Marilyn's Widowers, a musical show that revives the elegant and sensual glamor of the stages of the 30s, 40s and 50s.

Of Libertango from Piazolla to La vie en rose by Edith Piaf, the show covers Latin, North American and European classics from the first half of the 20th century. In a minimalist staging, four musicians play guitar, flute, sax, clarinet, double bass and drums. Two dancers follow the rhythms of the repertoire, which goes from the softness of the bolero to the fury of the mambo. In the center, as appropriate, the diva: Paz Court. Inspired by unforgettable women, from Marilyn Monroe to Peggy Lee, the singer interprets these infinite themes with feeling, elegance and theatricality.

"It is a music that breathes craftsmanship, humanity and also collectivity. In a time as digital as today, it undoubtedly makes me longing to hear that real fiber in each note. In that sense the sound is also very characteristic and defining of the same spirit. The resources greatly delimited the result, but at the same time that allowed the development and elaboration of the music in other more transcendental aspects. It was a time when pop was much more played, all kinds of proposals and innovations were allowed. The closeness between pop, learned music and jazz in those times made a very interesting and challenging mix on a creative, interpretive, emotional and intellectual level,” says Court.

Marilyn's Widowers includes songs like It is said of me, by Francisco Canaro; I will fly, by Domenico Modugno; orange tree in bloom, by Virgilio and Homero Expósito, Don't take me away, by Jacques Brel; and, of course,I wanna be loved by you, known for the blonde portrayal of Marilyn Monroe.
