Two singers who let off steam by collecting history and reinterpreting the tradition of the cueca brava with their voices. The long career of Lucho Castillo joins the freshness of the actor Nicolás Poblete, to interpret a happy cueca with a touch of humor and mischief.

The duo of musicians will perform for the first time at GAM, after their time in different Chilean folklore groups. Lucho Castillo, a self-taught musician with a long career, is recognized for his particular style of dancing and singing the cueca, where he combines folklore with rock and other musical styles. He has been a founder and member of groups such as Los Tricolores -with which he won the Festival del Huaso de Olmué in 2015-, and Los Piolas del Lote, with whom he released the album, Tiempos de oro dedicated to the glory years of the cueca brava.

Nicolás Poblete, a renowned actor and musician trained at the Theater School of the University of Chile, has researched the oral traditions of Chilean music for years. He has forged his career as a musician, highlighting his participation in Los Piolas del Lote, where great composers and performers such as Lucho Castillo, Pablo Guzmán and Dángelo Guerra are his mentors.
