The sounds with Latin American roots in the hands of Argentine and Chilean women star in three nights of concerts organized by Hemiola Músicas. On Thursday, August 13, New young performers: Soloists not so alone presents the Argentine Clara Cantore and the Chileans Daniela Conejero and Emilia Díaz with their bands. They all integrate South American musical traditions with varied sounds such as jazz, tango and flamenco.
The Latin American Women Cycle: Chileans and Argentines in Concert continues on Friday the 14th with the program From the Root to Poetry. The Chilean singer-songwriter Natalia Contesse will bewith her band and the Argentine singer and songwriter Georgina Hassan will play alongside the guitarist Daniel Delgado.
The cycle ends on Saturday the 15th with the concert New views of folklore: Latin American song and fusion folklore. From Argentina comes the composer and bandoneon player Susana Ratcliff with her group and from Chile, Magdalena Matthey and quartet, made up of the outstanding musicians Carmen Paz, Sergio and Simón González together with Federico Faure.
