Concert by Chilean composer Juan Cristóbal Meza with music from Chilean films.

Under the title LATIN 24-60, the well-known Chilean composer Juan Cristóbal Meza will present a concert focused on the soundtracks of Chilean films and series of his own authorship.

In this concert, which transforms images into music and music into cultural and human identity, you will hear, for example, the music from the films Fuga, Tony Manero, Prófugos, Allende in its labyrinth, Patagonia of dreams and Neruda.

Meza builds his own sound universe, using a classical trio (violin, cello and piano) together with a computer. It unites this acoustic and electronic sound, organizing it around the recurring images of Chilean cinema: streets, faces, political struggles, landscapes, etc. All this supported by a visual proposal made by actress and visual artist Nicole Block.
