Considered the first Chilean jazz-rock group, Quilín wrote a history parallel to the official one within popular music in our country. With more than 25 years of existence, it never obtained recognition from a medium that ultimately transformed it into a cult band par excellence.
The Quilín band was born at the end of the seventies and emerged as one of the most important voices in Jazz-Rock or Fusion music, a movement that brings together various musical elements such as Jazz, Progressive Rock, Latin Music, Classical, Folklore or Ethnic.
