Ismael Oddó a Mil

After having participated in 2024 in an artistic residency at the Gabriela Mistral Cultural Center (GAM), and with a novel proposal that traverses different sound and lyrical universes, Ismael Oddó returns to the Chilean music scene.

About the artist:

Ismael Oddó, is a musician and actor, born in France, and who grew up in Quilapayún, of which he has been a part since 2003. In 2011 he began his path as a soloist.

In four albums he has traveled through a wide musical spectrum. He debuted with the guitar in Bando N° 1 (2011), which he then continued with Ecce Homo (2015), with his own songs, by Eduardo Carrasco and Desiderio Arenas. In 2021 he released an album of tangos and zambas and Argentine songs, with recordings by his father Willy Oddó, which he restored and added his own voice. And he has also collaborated as a producer, performer and session player with musicians such as Álvaro Henríquez, Ana Tijoux, Ángel and Javiera Parra, Chancho en Piedra, Manuel García, María José Quintanilla and the live band of the Tikitiklip children's project. In 2022 he resumed his craft as an author with the Nuclear EP, where he expanded his inspirations and sound resources, with the production of Misha Celis, Javier Barría and Matías Astudillo.
