The third date of Interferences 2 again brings experimentation and creative residency. Valesuchi, Chilean electronic music manager, will occupy the GAM mirror room for the SOLSTICIA concert, where the celebration of the summer solstice will provide an innovative musical experience.
A novel sequence of music, history, hypnosis, reflection and dance is what the proposal of Valesuchi, musical pseudonym of Valentina Montalvo, producer and DJ, brings. Everything is also crowned by a different and special space: a dance rehearsal room with an open view to and from the Alameda to combine sunlight and the change of season.
The concert, called SOLSTICIA, refers to the milestone of renewal that constitutes the summer solstice. For the worldview of ancestral peoples around the world, this is a time of renewal, transformation and deep connection with natural cycles about life and death, sowing and harvesting, community and prosperity.
For the concert at GAM, the audience will be immersed in a hypnotic state of lights, music, dance and yellow color, typical of the solstice, to dance barefoot (if they wish). Concepts derived from astronomy, astrology, feminism, decolonial thought, cosmogony and natural sciences are added to the proposal, in a show presented in four parts. In addition, the artist will be accompanied by other transdisciplinary co-creators, such as Kamila Govorcin (DJ, music producer and hypnotherapist), Deborah Cassis (reikist) and Gracia Fernández (graphic design).

The DJ, who made her debut with the album Golosynth, a declaration of principles regarding dance music with somber rhythms and the use of analog synthesizers, is a pioneer in her field. Since 2014, when she was selected for the Red Bull Music Academy in Tokyo, she has played in Barcelona, Sao Paulo and Santiago. In a second creative stage, Valesuchi settled in Brazil to work in the electronic scenes. And that same year, together with Matías Aguayo, she produced the song "Nasty woman", with a strong feminist discourse, published by the Cómeme label.
Interferences 2 is a GAM project that seeks to innovate in the creation and staging of Chilean music. In this way, musicians and artists carry out a creative residency days before the opening of the process in new spaces, with guests who create and experiment in non-traditional spaces outside the concert hall.
Journalist Marisol García, curator of the project, highlights that "Chilean music has been part of GAM's programming since its inception. In the last quarter of the year, live music and the work of musicians spreads through new spaces, with guests who temporarily occupy the recording studio and unexpected places, incorporating audiences as part of their work in music."

Previous Seasons
The Interferences project began in 2023 in a cycle that had three dates: the first with Ónyx, a production and creation experience with Cristián Heyne, Begoña Ortúzar and Akriila; the second in residence with Nova Materia; and the third at the RECREO festival.
In 2024, the project has its second cycle, with interventions and residencies. The first was performed in October with Diego Noguera and Manuel Sánchez, and the second in November with the duo Atalaya of Fernando Milagros and Spec.
