The keyboards will be the protagonists in the August IMUC concerts at GAM.
On August 11 the pianist Mario Alarcón will perform Voiles and Le Vent dans la plaine by C. Debussy, Preludio Op.45 by F. Chopin and Danzas Argentinas by A. Ginastera. In addition, it will address Arabeske Op.18, Novellette Op.21 N°2 in D major and Novellette Op.21 N°8 in F minor by R. Schumann.
On August 18 it will be Verónica Sierralta's turn on harpsichord, performing Partitas for harpsichord by Johann Sebastian Bach: No. 2 in C minor BWV 826 and No. 6 in E minor, BWV 830.
Finally, on August 25 Liza Chung will present works by three great composers from the late 18th century: Piano Sonata No. 18 in D major K. 576 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart; Piano Sonata No. 62 in E flat major Hob.XVI/52 by Franz Joseph Haydn and Piano Sonata No. 32 in C minor Op.111 by Ludwig van Beethoven.
