Four dates with the best chamber music will be offered by the performers of the UC Music Institute in August.

On August 7, the Echoes of Europe concert will bring pieces for viola, clarinet and piano by Penélope Knuth, Luis Rossi and Marcela Rodríguez. They will begin withNocturne “Fairyland”, op. 57, #1, after Edgar Allan Poeby Joseph Holbrooke. They will continue with Duo for Viola and Piano, “Do not go gently” by Federico Heinlein and L’Abime des Oiseaux pour Clarinette by Olivier Messaien. They will end with Trio voor clarinet, altiviool on piano by Leo Smit.

On August 14, two works by Johannes Brahms will be presented: String Quartet in C minor, Op. 51, No. 1 and Piano Quintet in F minor Op. Accompanied by Liza Chung on piano.

The Félix Verdi UC Tango Orchestra will be the ensemble in charge of the concert on August 21. With the voice of Rodrigo del Pozo and twelve instrumentalists, they will perform fifteen tango songs by José González Castillo, Héctor Quesada, Manuel Joves, Ernesto Ponzio and Roberto Firpo, among others.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the death of Claude Debussy, the last concert on August 28 will be performed by Claudia Pereira and Constanza Rosas with Ariettes oubliées, Quatre Chansons de jeunesse, Trois Chansons de Bilitis, La Romance d'Ariel, Deux Romances and Nuits d' étoiles.
