"Do not move the earth. Leave the hand and the plow in charge; spread the harvests / when they give us back hope, / that Jesus still suffers," says Good Friday, a religious poem by Gabriela Mistral, but not the only one. Fourteen poems by Mistral with spiritual or religious themes were selected by Conjunto Los Perales, set to music by Andrés Opazo with arrangements by Luciano Valdevenito, and recorded on Gabriela divina, their tenth album.
The religious singing group is made up of nine female and male voices that perform religious songs with music of Latin American folklore.
