The First International Music Festival of Santiago, FIMSA 2015, brings to GAM nine concerts that will feature more than twenty Mozart creations as stars. Musicians from Germany, Austria, Poland, Ukraine, Japan and Chile play.
"There is no director who can measure up to Mozart, with Mozart you can only fail. The question is at what level you fail." The words are from Michael Haneke, the highly awarded Austrian filmmaker of Amour and The White Ribbon. Perhaps after the First International Music Festival of Santiago there is a similar idea, because it dedicates its 26 concerts to Mozart.
At GAM on March 26, the Austrians from the Vienna Brahms Trio will perform, a group with more than 20 years of career made up of Jasminka Stancul, Boris Kuschnir and Orfeo Mandozzi. Buy your tickets here.
On March 27, the Szymanowski Quartet, a group founded in 1995, arrives from Germany. Buy your tickets here.
March 28 will begin with violin and piano by the Japanese Yuzuko Horigome and Momo Kodama. Buy your tickets here.
Then the Vienna Brahms Trio returns with works for piano, violin and cello. The last concert of the day will be performed by the Polish Gregor Kotow on violin and the Ukrainian Igor Tchetuev on piano. Buy your tickets here.
