Concerts that link musical projects from different Latin American countries.
Last concert of this cycle that links musical projects from different Latin American countries as a way to experience integration through art and music. The performers, coming from different latitudes, travel to share their creative searches and original repertoires with local musicians.
At the November concert, the Carlos Aguirre Guitar Quintet, the most recent musical project of the prominent Argentine composer and pianist, will be presented. The group is made up of Carlos Aguirre himself, with Luis Medina (Santa Fe), Mauricio Laferrara (Paraná), Andrés Pardo (Temuco, Chile), Sebastián Narváez (Mendoza).
The ensemble evokes the sounds and textures of the music of Uruguayan Alfredo Zitarroza, inspired by Cuyo performers and their special way of approaching guitar groups within popular music.
