One of the most interesting voices of the recent Chilean music scene arrives at Tocatas Mil.

Chosen as Best Singer-Songwriter at the 2018 Pulsar Awards, Evelyn Cornejo arrives at Tocatas Mil as one of the most interesting voices on the recent Chilean music scene.

After publishing two albums praised by critics - Evelyn Cornejo (2011) and La chusma unconscious (2017) -, after a tour of Europe and countless performances throughout Chile and its surroundings, the singer-songwriter will present a show in which, through a dozen songs, she will show part of a repertoire marked by the influence of Chilean popular music - from Violeta Parra to Los Prisioneros -, rock, pop, the folklore she heard and he learned during his childhood, in the Maule region; and various Latin American sounds, such as bolero, joropo, bossa nova and cumbia.

“With lyrics that address stories from the countryside and severe political criticism, Evelyn Cornejo has become one of the most important creators of the generation of 2010,” the specialized press has said about her. An ideal opportunity to see live one of the singers and composers who have given new life to local popular music.

THIS CONCERT IS PRESENTED AT GAM IN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE XXVI EDITION OF THE SANTIAGO A MIL FESTIVAL 2019
