Project of ancestral rhythms with jazz elements, such as improvisation and the trio format.

Gustavo Cerqueiras on piano, Josué Villalobos on drums and Ernesto Holman on electric bass will present Raíz, their latest work, where the central focus is the worldview of the Mapuche world.

“Flesh and blood” music—as Holman defines it—in which fundamental rhythms such as the cueca or the tonada participate, but also sections where the trio breaks free from molds.
