Renowned concert artists from Europe and America, as well as prominent Chilean exponents, will gather this year at the 16th version of the Entrecuerdas Guitar Festival, the most important guitar event in the country, which includes recitals and master classes in Santiago and regions.
As in previous versions, this year all styles of music on the guitar will be present - from folklore to jazz, popular, scholarly and contemporary music. Even with other nearby string instruments such as the lute, the romantic, baroque guitars or the vihuela, the cuatro, the charango and the tiple.
In addition to soloists from Brazil, Colombia, Canada, Norway, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Argentina, Mexico and Chile, chamber ensembles and concerts with orchestra will participate.
At GAM, the Maule Classical Orchestra will perform, conducted by Maestro Francisco Rettig and the Duo Orellana & Orlandini (Thursday the 22nd). In addition, Christina Sandsengen - Norway and Fabio Montomoli - Italy will participate (Friday the 23rd).
