UC Music Institute Concerts

The IMUC Early Music Festival takes place in October, with four concerts that mainly cover compositions from the 16th and 17th centuries. It begins on October 4 with the concert Sospiri miei: vocal and instrumental music of the Italian cinquecento, with the musicians Gina Allende, Florencia Bardavid, Humberto Orellana, Paula Torres, Eduardo Figueroa and Simón Rubio. On October 11, El delirio de las liras is presented, by the Faenza Ensemble. G. P. Telemann: fantasias for flute and basso continuo, is performed on October 18 by Sergio Candia, Eduardo Figueroa and Camilo Brandi. And on October 25, the Estudio MúsicAntigua UC, under the direction of Sergio Candia, gives the concertChiaroscuro veneziano. Arias and cantatas for tenor and instrumental ensemble.
