Maule Classical Orchestra

Conducted by Francisco Rettig, the 23 musicians will perform Il Matrimonio Segreto Overture by Dománico Cimarosa, Aranjuez Concerto by Joaquín Rodrigo, Concerto for Guitar and Orchestra by Héitor Villa-Lobos and the London Symphony by Joseph Haydn.

Eugenio González and Luis Guevara will participate as soloists.

The Maule Classical Orchestra is established as a space for dissemination, creation and artistic training for professional musicians, promoting decentralization and opening a new creative space.

Since its origin in 2009 to date, it already has the development of more than 40 popular lyrical galas, the production of six renowned operas, an operetta, popular symphonic tributes, Chilean carols, two musicals, two phonographic productions of musical records by Chilean authors and recognition for its high social impact in the region.

It is currently composed of 23 musicians, who are under the direction of the Principal Maestro, Francisco Rettig, as well as Octavio Torres in the resident direction.
