Three concerts will be offered at GAM by musicians from the Institute of Sonology of the University of Chile in October. 

The Vocal Camerata of the University of Chile will begin on October 17, made up of 16 professional singers. Conducted by Juan Pablo Villarroel, the choir will perform Trois chansons by Claude Debussy, Trois chansons by Maurice Ravel and the Requiem by John Rutter.

On October 24 the program will be a tribute to the American musician Leonard Bernstein on his 100th birthday. The Mistral Duo, made up of pianists Karina Glasinovic and Paulina Zamora; Together with the Magnificat Choir, they will perform a selection of the operetta Candide, Chichester Psalms, Arias Y Barcarolas (with mezzo-soprano Fernanda Carter and baritone Leonardo Aguilar) and Tonight de Amor sin Barreras.

The Ikaros Ensemble, a group made up of 17 professional lyrical singers, directed by Paula Torres, will end on October 31. They will perform Abendlied by Josef Rheinberger, Vinea mea electa by Francis Poulenc, Requiem by Antonio María Valencia, Osuna Requiem by Calixto Álvarez, Ecco mormorar l’onde by Claudio Monteverdi, Le chant des oiseaux by Clement Janequin, Plantita by Alhelí (Traditional); Baguala by Juan Poquito, Serenata para la Tierra de Uno and La Cigarra by María Elena Walsh, Oiga Compae by Cesar Alejandro Carrillo and I remember you Amanda and Manifesto by Víctor Jara.
