In the last concert of 2015 at GAM, the Chilean Chamber Orchestra will be conducted by Julio Doggenweiler, in a program that includes Overture to the story La Hermosa Melusina op. 32 by Felix Mendelssohn, Violin Concerto in G Major K 216 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (soloist: Julio Retamal) and Chamber Concerto by the Chilean Gustavo Becerra-Schmidt.
They will conclude the concert with Symphony No. 4 in A Major, op. 90, "Italiana" by Felix Mendelssohn, one of the symphonic jewels of the 19th century.
Doggenweiler, a Chilean living in Germany, is the head of the Munich Youth Orchestra, with which he has won numerous European competitions.
