The Valdivian singer-songwriter comes to GAM with his compositions, southern soundscapes and Latin American roots, whose sound has been enriched over the years. Acoustic timbres, folk rhythms and poetry are part of this proposal.

Winning the state Rock Schools competition in 2011 encouraged Eque to take his love of music, cultivated since childhood, to legitimate professional aspirations.

Acoustic timbres, folk rhythms, poetry mixed with immersive virtual instruments and southern soundscapes are part of this proposal with influences from the new Chilean song and Argentine, Brazilian and African folklores.

Eque has also published two books, “[My] part of the forest”, which brings together the texts of his 5 albums along with stories and reflections on what is behind the songs, and the poetry book “Cuerpo Uno”, a visual story about the experiences of the body.

"This invitation (from Scheherazade publishing house) encouraged me to look at the trajectory and create an anthology for my concerts, and at the same time “Cuerpo Uno” is part of the process of a new album that I am working on and testing live with the band. For the concert at GAM we will review my albums and several unreleased songs from new material that I am working on. The repertoire is an invitation to travel through the imagination through words using books as media," says the artist.
