Carter, Bach, Carrasco and Grieg are the composers who will visit this Valdivian orchestra with 14 years of existence to celebrate, a little late, the festival of the French-speaking Belgian community. The concert, performed by 17 young musicians, is the prelude to a tour to Belgium and France.
The orchestral instrument teaching program - Children's and Youth Orchestra - is a preventive project aimed at promoting the right to integration and cultural participation in girls, boys and adolescents whose rights have been violated. It is carried out through a socio-educational intervention, with a view to the development of their musical skills, incorporating their family and the Valdivian community in this process.
This experience is possible thanks to the joint work between CIFAN and the Conservatory of Music of the Universidad Austral de Chile.
