Commotion Band live

The beginnings of Banda Conmoción are linked to theater and street artistic intervention, being part of the Teatro Mendicantes company, whom it accompanied by creating music and creating sound atmospheres in their productions in public spaces and stages. The company would later go into recess, at which time musicians, actors and dancers decided to carry out a musical-stage work with an instrumental brass band format, in order to take and reinterpret the Latin American and universal festival, standing out for its strong, colorful and comprehensive staging, managing to transfer to its audience the spirit present in the manifestations of tradition, managing to conquer a cross-age audience; children, young people, adults and seniors.

At the national level, Banda Conmoción has played on various and important stages such as Lollapalooza or the Olmué Huaso Festival and many others throughout the territory. He has also made international tours through France, Spain, Germany, China, Argentina, Peru and Colombia, passing through stages such as the San Pelayo National Porro Festival and Rock al Parque, Bogotá. In all these years, he has consolidated himself to become an obligatory number at the national party and revelry, without leaving aside his commitment to tradition, which earned him the distinction as Best Roots Music Artist, awarded by the jury of the 2015 Pulsar Música Chilena Awards.

On September 8 and 9 you will have the opportunity to enjoy the presentation of the Banda Conmoción, with a repertoire of Latin American music: celebrations (Peru), fandango, porros (Colombia), Tinku and Cacharpaya from the North of our country, as part of a preview of their new production added to their already traditional essential sounds.

In addition, the musicians will invite the public one hour before the presentation to share with them the signing of records, photos, chat a little and give away posters of the band.
