Theatrical concert by Rafael Díaz based on letters and speeches by Salvador Allende, as well as testimonies, the composer's own texts and memories of people who interacted with him.
The work places emphasis on the president's intimate thoughts, where a normal being with fears and insecurities emerges, along with his convictions. This transforms it into an epistolary by Salvador Allende addressed to himself, hence the original name of the opera, “Allende a Salvador”.
The staging includes a multimedia scenic montage and includes Salvador Allende, Beatriz Allende Bussi and Raúl Silva Henríquez as main characters.
