With the city as a backdrop from BiblioGAM, a new scenario is born for the boiling of ideas and contemporary thought. The eighth session of Ventanal Alameda will discuss the erosion of cultural sovereignty in the face of algorithms that privatize our collective memory and shape our identity.
Tu Aug 18: Technofeudalism and culture
How platforms impact beyond our screens: from the death of serendipity, the homogenization of global taste and the standardization of language, to the transformation of the artist into a perpetual "content worker." We will discuss the erosion of cultural sovereignty in the face of algorithms that privatize our collective memory and shape our identity under performance metrics. How can we recover the ability to create outside the walls of the digital fiefdom and return culture to its character as a common good?
