Ventanal Alameda: The era of fake and deepfake

Journalist from the Catholic University with an outstanding career in strategic communication, scientific dissemination and audiovisual production. With extensive experience leading projects from their creation to their broadcast, she has been Executive Producer of milestones such as the series Héroes on Channel 13 and documentaries about figures such as Gabriela Mistral. After her time at the VTR Foundation, she currently works as Director of CNN Futuro, where she leads spaces such as Futuro 360 and Sana Mente. In addition, for seven years he directed the campaigns and broadcasts of Congreso Futuro.

Master in Literature from the University of Chile. He was part of the Royal Court Theater International Playwriting Programme. She is a member of the Colectivo Zoológico company, and also works independently and in collaboration with various groups and directors. He has premiered more than twenty works of his authorship. His texts have been presented in Mexico, Spain, Germany, Brazil, Uruguay, Norway, Portugal, Colombia and Argentina. He is currently a teacher at the Theater Schools of the University of Valparaíso and UNIACC.

His research covers various problems such as memory, political violence, climate crisis, technology and non-human agencies.

Director of Factor Crítico and specialist in political narrative, with almost 20 years of experience in the public sector and positions of high responsibility. An expert in the construction of stories, content and discursive coherence, she also works as an advisor in political communication (#Compol) and a teacher. She is an active columnist in the written press, radio and television, and stands out for her command of the English and French languages, as well as her strategic presence on social networks.

He obtained his PhD from the University of Chile and completed a postdoc at Yahoo Research. He is a principal researcher at the National Center for Artificial Intelligence (CENIA) and an associate researcher at the Millennium Fundamentals of Data Institute (IMFD).

His research focuses on the development of artificial intelligence methods to analyze and predict human phenomena, including the diffusion of information and the dynamics of behavior in social networks. He has published more than 100 scientific articles, with nearly 10,000 citations. In 2021 he received the Seoul Test of Time award for his work on information credibility on Twitter, a pioneering study in the application of artificial intelligence to the analysis of disinformation.
