Hetu'u, in the navel of the world

Hetu'u did not choose his name or his vacation. And although he could ask that they better call him Andrés, he had no way of resisting going to see his mother's family in Rapa Nui. And there he is, much to his regret, far from the continent and his friends, glued to his cell phone, trying to catch any little bit of signal. His cousin Nukura will try to get him out of his confinement and connect him with his roots.

Rapa Nui, its nature, animals and the spirit of a moai lead Hetu'u to value his identity, the heritage of his ancestors. Puppets, objects and music come together in this work by the Viñamarina company Teatro Planetario, written by Nicolás Cancino and directed by Walter González.
