This dance work for early childhood returns, directed by actor Francisco Medina and choreographer Carla Castro. Children up to 6 years old can watch the play and then go on stage to dance and discover new body skills. 

“Change the lights” is a saying that refers to flirting in humans. For a firefly the idea is not metaphorical, because its light and flashing are signals that help it find a partner. Fireflies, dance for children shows a summer night in which two of them wake up after sleeping in a puddle of water in a forest, and dance illuminated because they have fallen in love. 

This creation of the Manada company unites the academic technique of ballet with mapping (digital projections), objects, lights and music composed by Cuti Aste, to bring dance to children up to 6 years old. At the end of the play, the stage welcomes the little ones, so they can play, dance, socialize and discover new skills.
