The concert will review live the first record album of the Compañía Teatro de Ocasión, which compiles the sound track of their works “Una Mañanita Partí” (2011) and “El Viaje Redondo” (2013).
A total of 10 songs and a bonus track, all recorded at GAM Studios, mixed at Estudio Pierattini and mastered by Chalo González. Under the musical production and arrangements of Simón González, the album was co-financed by Teatro de Ocasión, the Fund for the Promotion of National Music 2016, the National Council of Culture and the Arts and the collaboration of Centro Cultural GAM.
On the lead vocals, María Fernanda Carrasco; on percussion, Álvaro Sáez (both former La Mano Ajena) and César Espinoza, guitar, clarinet. In addition, prominent musicians such as Juan Ayala and Peces Sexteto among others collaborated.
The first cut on the album is called Leche, a foxtrot taken from the soundtrack of Una Mañanita Partí. The single has an animated video that was made by illustrator and visual artist, Sergio Iacobelli.
Canciones de Ocasión is an album that covers various musical styles, nuances of jazz, bossanova, rock and traditional Latin American rhythms, offering children access to music that combines playfulness with high-quality workmanship and sound quality.
The album will be available at Portal Disc, Tienda Nacional and other record stores and bookstores in the country.
