Contemporary dance about the vastness of nature and the way it affects and connects us. Co-creation of three figures of the performing arts: Rodrigo Pérez, Andrés Poirot and Claudia Vicuña.
The feeling of immensity of a landscape and the inner silence that is reached in its contemplation inspire Blanco, a contemporary dance work that investigates the introspection that moves and modifies.
Thedirector Rodrigo Pérez, the designer Andrés Poirot, and the choreographer and dancer Claudia Vicuña worked together on the reflection, composition and aesthetics of Blanco. Your invitation is to observe the work as if it were a landscape.
"Working in collaboration and valuing calm and simplicity is a political decision. We understand it as resistance. But why do we want to do this resistance? Who resists, nature, the human being? And to what?" Vicuña asks, explaining the questions of the work that he also directs.
The contemporary proposal has a monochrome aesthetic, music by Carlos Cabezas and uses lighting to integrate the viewer. It is played by Vicuña and Daniela Marini.
