House Dance. Urban Social Dance, one of the important pillars, styles and techniques of urban body language is House Dance as a dance style that was born along with the style of music in the underground of American society mainly in the cities of Chicago and New York, in the marginal communities of Latin, Afro-descendant and Italian migrants.

House Dance was born in response to the social, cultural, political and artistic movements between the seventies and eighties. Cultural clashes between migrant communities nourish the development of this language. The dance styles that precede it are dances with African roots, funk style dances, hustle, voguing, mambo, salsa, street jazz, tap-dancing, etc. All these mixtures create House that seeks to interpret and link the frequency of the music with the movements, giving way to a wide range of possibilities when it comes to moving and improvising. Music plays a fundamental role because it is a source of inspiration to flow on a journey of mixtures, volumes, speeds and sound intensities.

Music gives way to movements to flow in total freedom, having key tools and movements that allow you to connect with the frequency of the music, harmonizing the body and tune it to display a cathartic dance that unites and channels the music through the body.
