One of the largest communities in the GAM, which due to the “street” style with which they operate, are the ones that best adapt to any corner of the building in order to practice their choreographies that range from twerking, to break dancing, hip hop, pop and so many more styles.
Interventions in GAM:
- GAM 2017 Programming Launch: The event held on November 6, 2016, had the stellar presence of the group Wolfpack, one of the many groups of the GAM Urban Dance Community, and which was invited to open the event. The group performed a choreography that mixed a diversity of steps, the so-called funk styles on the stage of room A2 and stood out for representing what 2017 would be at the programmatic level.
- Inauguration of the first stone of the 2nd GAM Stage: On December 24, the ceremony for laying the first stone of the Great GAM Hall was held. Headed by President Michelle Bachelet, accompanied by her Ministers of Public Works and Culture; The main show was the GAM Urban Dance Community, with a freestyle that enlivened the day and illustrated what happens every day in the GAM squares.
The communities that come to GAM organize autonomously among themselves and carry out different activities, from rehearsing, doing workshops, or just meeting, always in our squares, which we lend them to carry out their different demonstrations. In addition, during the year we work with several of these groups in activities extra to those they generate.
