Paraíso-private collection is a choreographic concert through the garden of the imagination, emphasized by dissonant and heterogeneous materials. It is a device of shocking emotions where unexpected encounters can occur.
An imaginary place with Christian roots, where life unfolds free from the limits of daily and earthly life. In the face of food scarcity, paradise offers abundance; against the workload, a life free of efforts and obligations.
There is a paradise before creation, rebellious but innocent and not knowing original sin, and a paradise of virtue, the promised land in heaven for those who lived virtuous lives. But, as a paradise emancipated from the realm of religious morality of the Last Judgment and progressively introduced into the sphere of the arts, it becomes the place of the exotic and wonderful.
The transformation of hell followed the same pattern and, in fact, paradise and hell constitute fundamental objects of artistic imagination.
