This dance production comes from Spain under the artistic and choreographic direction of Luz Arcas. It arrives at GAM within the framework of the XIV Santiago Off Festival.

Mariana is the name of the goat that accompanies the wandering gypsy, the one in the show, the one who dances and feeds him.

The female animal is the body of the work, no matter what era it goes through. In the work, the singing encourages and animates the productive force and the body freely recreates the power of the animal.

The body wastes energy, life and death and that is its radical and archaic modernity. The jondo body breaks into dance, a dance as abstract and symbolic as it is utilitarian and material.
