It's so nice to know that you exist

The title of this work is a declaration of love. Whom? “It is a small tribute to many older people who feel and are invisible due to the priorities of our capitalist society,” says director Sebastián de la Cuesta, who returns to GAM after presenting Migrante and Black Beach.

This contemporary dance premiere is an investigation into the human being from the corporal and existential experience of surviving the years, the transformation that it entails and the readjustment that it demands.

The cast includes prominent names in the national performing arts: Paulina Mellado, Francisca Sazie, Rodrigo Pérez, Manuel Peña and Raúl López. Cristián Reyes' comprehensive design includes a multimedia device with projections, sound and lighting.

It's so nice to know that you exist was developed at Espacio Czechoslovakia, directed by De la Cuesta, Reyes and Rodrigo Leal, responsible for the lighting of the work.
