RE Festival

Paris, je t’aime is a film made up of eighteen short films, all directed by different directors who worked on the same theme: the most famous city in France. Something equivalent is at the heart of the Festival Re, because its vital center is a work made up of contemporary dance and ballet shorts created by different choreographers. Of course, there is one factor in common: all of these short films are creations of Chilean dancers who migrated to develop their careers outside the country.

In total there are seven Chilean dancers and three foreign dancers invited, all with diverse training, careers and residences. They are responsible for the pieces that will be performed by 12 local dancers, selected through an open call attended by more than 100 applicants. 

Created by dancer Mauricio Vera, the festival aims to become a space to share the learning and knowledge of Chilean dancers abroad, to recognize and give local validity to their international careers, in addition to encouraging the dance market in Chile.
