In fold
A one-man dance that investigates the fold as a gesture and concept. The piece investigates the body as an archive, based on the performer's logs of creative processes. From these writings emerge twelve artisanal fanzines, whose folding and circulation are transformed into scenic gestures: folding, crumpling, unfolding and retracting the body. The public is invited to participate actively, taking the fanzines with them and entering the space where the work already happens, between slogans, words and sounds of the paper. En Fold proposes a crossover between archive, writing and movement, questioning how dance practices can circulate beyond the stage.

VOID (Part II: Chaos)
A contemporary dance project-work that reinterprets the myth of Sisyphus as a journey of the “contemporary body”. The piece displays a series of seemingly meaningless actions, where the body dialogues in its uselessness, becoming a symbol of the weight of the world, routine and the infinite loops of the system.

Both works were premiered in the Antonio Varas Room of the Chilean National Theater, as part of the COREOGRÁFICAS 24 meeting, organized by the Directorate of Artistic Creation (DiCREA) of the Vice Chancellor of Research and Development and the Department of Dance of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Chile.
