GAM opens a call to be part of the new dance production 2025, by choreographer Pepo Silva. Through a creation workshop, 4 performing artists will be selected to join the cast of the piece that will premiere in the month of November.

ABOUT THE PROJECT/WORK:
We meet to cook a choreographic manifesto that immerses us in a revelry of rebellion and strength. A dish with local ingredients that explodes in flavors and colors, in sensitive dialogue with our heritage and our present.
This work is a mishmash of dances that inhabit the margins; popular and mestizo forms that rethink the historical legacies inscribed in our bodies. A celebration that dismantles the homogeneous and stresses diversity to embrace collective, ephemeral and mutable identities.
From the mixed bodies—hybrid territories crossed by memories, displacements, languages and affects—a force emerges that proposes multiple forms of resistance. The piece activates a space of contagion and crossing of knowledge, a corporal-territorial recovery with political resonance, which projects the experience of the diaspora and cultural insurgency towards a plural Latin America, alive and in motion.
This is an invitation to reclaim what constitutes us, from the complexity, beauty and power of what is mixed.
PROFILE OF CANDIDATURES:
- We are looking for dancers with experience and training in various urban, Latin, social styles and contemporary influences, who in their practice articulate crossings, contaminations or approaches to experimentation with mixtures of languages.
- We value the interest and willingness to assemble and dismantle your own practices, learn from other mobilities and dedicate yourself with courage and dedication to a creative, emotional and physical process.
- Likewise, the ability to play instruments and good handling of both material and bodily polyrhythms will be valued.
- The minimum requirements to register are: being of legal age, residing in the national territory, demonstrating high capacity to perform challenging choreographic sequences and having full in-person availability for the indicated times and workplace.

- Residence II 1 to 10 Oct. Mon to Fri – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Rehearsals Oct 13 to Nov 7 Mon, Wed and Fri – 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Residence 27 to 31 Oct. Monday to Friday – 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Assembly 10 to 12 Nov. Mon, Wed and Fri – 3 to 6 p.m.
- Performances Between Nov 13 and Dec 6. Thu to Sat – 3 to 9 p.m.
