Like a Real Madrid training session, in which a fairy has established a transitory state of magic and poetry, this is how Rtve described this work by Dani Pannullo Dancetheatre Co. that presents freestyle football as another urban dance.
A cello sets to music with eclectic tones the movements with which b-boys and dancers build Avalanche, a masculine work created and directed by Dani Pannullo. Premiered three years ago in Spain, the work combines the acrobatic virtuosity of this type of sport with poetic eroticism to talk about the passage of time.
Pannullo is an Argentine choreographer who lives in Spain. He has worked with disciplines such as breakdance, skateboarding, parkour, beatboxing, among others. During his stay in Chile his company will also give a breakdance workshop.
