The first concert date of the UC Music Institute brings the X UC Electroacoustic Music Festival. An absolute premiere of the audiovisual work Blink by the Italian Maria Teresa Trecozzi, and the premiere in Chile of Memories of the Oak, by the Argentine Jorge Chikiar, with the performance of the double bassist César Bernal and the author himself on electronics.

In its tenth anniversary edition, the UC Electroacoustic Music Festival scheduled six absolute premieres and three in Chile, of works by creators from Chile and six other countries in America and Europe.

The first day will take place on May 7 at GAM. The absolute premiere of the audiovisual work Blink by the Italian Maria Teresa Trecozzi will be offered, and the premiere in Chile of Memories of the Oak, by the Argentine Jorge Chikiar, with the performance of the double bassist César Bernal and the author himself on electronics.

The program is completed with three works by Chilean composers: the acousmatic Argis by Antonio Carvallo and Type…! (to Federico Schumacher) by José Miguel Candela, and Huellas, a mixed work by Sebastián Larraechea, in addition to the audiovisual work by the Italian Domenino de Simone Peace wind.
