The Amanay chamber group presents the concert “Chilean music for seven” on the second concert date of the music season of the University of Chile.

The ensemble led by Professor Wilson Padilla is made up of academics, students and graduates of the Department of Music and originated from the curricular activity of the Chamber Music subject.   

Although in their sound proposal there is repertoire of all styles and all eras, for this presentation at GAM they will offer music by Chilean composers, mostly academics from the Music Department such as Jorge Pepi, Fernando Carrasco, Mario Mora and Antonio Carvallo through works that were created especially for the group. 

The group is made up of Belén Peralta (soprano), Melanie Marguirot (soprano), Carlos Carvajal (tenor), Luis Saavedra (piano), and Wilson Padilla (traverse flute and musical direction). in addition to Felipe Vega (clarinet) and Nelson Campos (violoncello) as guest musicians.
