Workshops for teachers and mediators

The workshops that will be taught are:

9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. | BODY MOVEMENT AND MATERIALITY | Taught by: Jorge Volpi “collective a debacle” | Room C1
This workshop invites educators who work with boys and girls from early childhood to the first basic cycle, to explore the expressive possibilities of the body in movement. Based on the work of performing arts, developed by “Colectiva una Debacle”, a space for exchange and reflection is proposed around the body, movement and material experience, (Temuco).

9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. | HOW TO TELL MYTHS? | Francisco Ortega teaches | Room C2
This workshop invites educators, reading mediators and librarians to immerse themselves in the universe of Chilean mythology as a living tool for educational work. Through myths and legends of the territory, it is proposed to rediscover ancestral stories that dialogue with identity, memory and imagination.

12:30 to 2:30 p.m. | EXPLORATIONS AND CREATIONS FROM THE EARTH AND THEIR POSSIBILITIES | Taught by: Antonia Luco | Room C1
This workshop invites educators who work in art and education with early childhood to open a space for exploration, play and collective reflection. Based on sensory experiences with natural materials, it is proposed to reconnect with the wonder, curiosity and expressive language of boys and girls.

11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. | LISTENING AS A SENSITIVE TOOL TO DISCOVER THE LANDSCAPE | Pablo Saavedra teaches “Tsonami” | Room C2
This workshop is aimed at educators and artists who develop artistic education processes with children and young people; invites you to sharpen your listening and rediscover everyday territory through sound. Through playful and collective exercises of sound attention and exploration of the immediate environment, participants will awaken their ears and expand their way of perceiving the space they inhabit.

3 to 6 p.m. | INTRODUCTION TO DOCUMENTARY LETTERS: A TERRITORY-BASED ART EDUCATION DEVICE | Felipe Correa teaches “Gaticine” | Room C1
This workshop is aimed at teachers, people linked to the world of artistic education, mediation and documentary film. It proposes the learning of a methodology of working with documentary film designed for formal and non-formal education contexts, inviting us to look at nearby reality with new eyes.
3 to 6 p.m. | INTIMATE CARTOGRAPHY: THE PLACE OF CONTENTURE | Sandra UretaMarín teaches “Studio Repisa” | Room C2
This workshop is aimed at educators and artists who develop artistic education processes with children and young people. It is an invitation to turn our gaze inward, to explore the interior landscape that inhabits us. We will work from the intimate to the relational, forming a large collective canvas, a reflection of a shared experience.
